McLellan’s Scottish Scran began when Margaret became inspired to create something unique-given her passion for all things Scottish. Being of nearly 100% Scottish descent, and an award winning lobster chef in Maine (the state with the highest Scottish ansestory) she explored the marriage of Maine seafood and traditional Scottish spices and herbs. her first product: Ayr seven spice blend combines six aromatic spices traditionally used in scottish cooking with blackthorn salt crystals made in ayrshire to create a proprietary seasoning blend like no other. this blend compliments lobster dishes and takes salmon to a new level of deliciousness.
